Chief Dr. Mgbeke is the founder, President and CEO of Diversity Empowerment Resource Outreach, Inc (DERO), also known as DEROCARE. Chief Dr. Mgbeke was born and raised in Nigeria. He was conferred with several chieftaincy titles from his local tribe. A philanthropist, he has devoted most of his life helping those who were displaced. Dr. Mgbeke has given priority to revitalizing underdeveloped and developing nations in which poverty, rapid spread of HIV/AIDS, hunger, and misery are abound. Chief Dr. Mgbeke has first-hand knowledge of the problems confronting poor African families, and he is passionate about bringing social and economic development to African countries.

Chief Dr. Mgbeke has worked with various populations such as empowering women initiative programs, grassroots community organizations, support youth community collaborations, Rotary Club International, and has worked with community leaders to affect social change in the community in which he lives.

 He is one of the few good-hearted people, who have gone beyond a charitable organization role. Dr. Mgbeke is widely admired and has received many prestigious awards and citations while in the United States Navy, including Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal; Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, and many other personal awards from private organizations. 

 Dr. Mgbeke is a  21 year veteran of the United States Navy. Chief Dr. Mgbeke has held different leadership positions while in the Navy including Division Leading Chief Petty Officer, Contracting Officer,  and Chief, Relational Supply Software Application Support Analyst.  Learn More
